Dusty CoxEx US saxophonist Dustan Cox is Head of Jazz Saxophone at the Elder Conservatorium, He has had a fabulous career in the US whilst also teaching in Durban, South Africa under Darius Brubeck (Dave's son).

Dusty was in the original six-piece version of the band at their first gig at the Glenelg Jazz Festival in 1998. He returned to the US in late 1998, then came back to Australia in 2003, rejoining Marmalade Circus. He played in the ten-piece band's debut in 2005 on alto saxophone and appears on their first EP as a ten-piece, …and then there were ten.
